About Course
The DOT Drug and Alcohol Class for Employees Course is presented in alignment with the Department of Transportation (DOT) Office of Drug and Alcohol Policy and Compliance. These regulations require a person in a Safety Sensitive Position or a person obtaining employment requiring them to be placed in a Safety Sensitive Position to follow the requirements of DOT Alcohol and Drug testing rules. Performing tasks defined by the US Department of Transportation (DOT) as safety-sensitive, include but not limited to working on pipelines, driving a truck, operating a ferry or a train, or repairing/flying an airplane. These rules may include procedures for testing, frequency of tests, and substances tested for.
